The Chase viewers were totally ecstatic after one contestant made history with a record-breaking solo win.

The lucky chap, Eden Nash, took on the high-stakes challenge in a seat-gripping finish and was awarded a fortune for his impressive efforts.

Just a few years off from being a teenager, Eden won the nation's hearts after making the bold decision to go for the high offer with nothing to lose. It's fair to say - it most definitely paid off. Have a look:

Back in 2021, a 20-year-old Eden Nash, became the biggest individual winner on the hit ITV game show.

The lad shocked host Bradley Walsh after having built up an impressive 18-place lead ahead standing up against opponent, Darragh Ennis.

Truly a trivia know-it-all, Eden went for gold and singlehandedly bagged himself a whopping £75,000 cash prize for his stint on The Chase after answering four pushback questions correctly.

After Eden won the grand total, Bradley exclaimed: "That is the highest ever single win in TV quiz show history - and you're only 20!"

Beaming for the boy, the host continued: "That is brilliant for a 20-year-old, amazing, you scored 18 - you have to be happy with that. Extraordinary. Well played."

"That is the highest ever single win in TV quiz show history."

"Congratulations," he cheered. "You have outrun the Chaser."

"Let me tell you - this is the best quiz on TV. Bar none. Because this just does not happen on any other show. Come and have a go - if you think you are young, or you are clever, enough!"

ITV recently released a re-run of the legendary episode and it's fair to say that Brits are still reeling over Eden's incredibly win.

Viewers have come out in their thousands to race to social media and share their reactions to the record-breaking victory.

One Twitter user posted: "Never been that immersed in an episode of The Chase as that one! Go on Eden son! £75k by himself 20 years old too!"

A second echoed: "Brilliant to watch 20-year-old Eden winning that 70 grand on The Chase."

"Wow to this Eden guy on The Chase, only 20 years old c'mon," penned a third, while a fourth added: "Man like 20-year-old eden winning 75k on The Chase," before hash-tagging 'rizz'.

If that's now rizz then I don't know what is.

A final viewer posted: "Eden I guess you’ve made history for this show having beaten the Chaser and winning the £75.000.

"You put in on your own. Well done."

Well done indeed.
