The Joe Rogan Experience has seemingly disappeared from Spotify, with users unable to find episodes of the controversial podcast on both the iPhone and Android apps, as well as on the web player.

Why exactly the podcast can’t be found isn’t yet clear, and could just be an error, but this comes as the podcast has been mired in controversy over offensive language from Rogan’s past, as well as complaints about some guests and content on the show including Covid-19 misinformation.

The online music streaming platform paid a reported $100 million to acquire the exclusive rights to Rogan’s show – the biggest podcast in the world – back in 2021.

The podcast did disappear briefly the other day, but Spotify confirmed that it was a 'technical issue' rather than a deliberate decision.
