A woman has been praised for her epic response to a date who sent her a 'huge red flag' text 30 minutes before meeting up.

TikTok content creator Utsha Saha has gone viral on the platform after revealing the unsavoury message she got from her date on his way to pick her up.

Despite a successful first date, the Canadian - who lives in the UK - has explained how the second outing took an awkward turn before it even started.

In the viral clip from last year, Utsha said: "So, I've dressed to get dinner tonight and this man is on his way, and he's booked dinner, and he's coming to pick me up."

When she got the text from her date to tell her that he's on his way, Utsha said she was stunned.

The TikToker said: "He goes, I kid you not, word for word... 'Alright you shallow b***h. Don't judge my car. I've had it since I was 18 and no one has a car in London.'

"I barely call my friends cuss words, and if we ever do playfully call each other b***h, it's like people I'm very close with.

"I have very little tolerance for cuss words, especially from men I go on dates with. So, this really threw me off."

Users said the response from the man in his 30s - who has a 'normal career' - confirmed she'd made the right decision.

He rang her and claimed she 'intentionally' sabotaged the date and waited for him to travel across town to make her mind up.

Following the argument, the man then apparently called her back to apologise for his antics.

He allegedly asked for a second chance, but Utsha said she declined.

Viewers have since praised the TikToker for the way she managed to 'dodge a bullet'.

One person wrote: "HUGE RED FLAGS,' as another warned: "Run girl don't look back. First red flag he hung up on you then the 'I'm sorry'."

A third said: "His insecurities are showing before you even went on the date."

While a fourth commented: "Yip, maintain your boundaries/standards, his comment was disrespectful & not needed! Good for you for remaining polite."

Someone else also said: "I am old enough to be your grandmother. He showed you who he was and you showed him who you are a woman who deserves to be respected."
