An Uber Eats driver has revealed how much he earns during a part-time shift.
Content creator Jamie Billingsley has said his side hustle as an Uber Eats driver is the 'the best earner' for people who 'need a second job'.
However, in a video posted on his TikTok page (@jamiebillingsley), the influencer from Essex warns that there is a lot to consider and pay depends on a lot of factors, like time and location.
That being said, Jamie reckons the applying process is easy and straightforward for people who need quick cash.

"The weekends are generally better [than] during the week," he said.
"I haven't tested it out during the week much.
"I did like couple drops on a Wednesday and a Thursday but I can't imagine Monday night's very busy or Tuesday night.
"I think it depends as where you're from as well but, overall, I think it's a good money earner."

Jamie warns of hidden costs

Jamie warned that people need to be aware of the hidden costs like petrol and insurance.
"Insurance works out £1.12 an hour, I think, so you take off £6 there for a full time job," he said.
"But I think it's worth it, some people do it full time. If you can do Uber Eats delivery and Just Eat all at the same time, have three different devices and do all your trips really quickly, then yeah it's probably worth [it].
"I'm just doing it as a side hustle now, I think it's the best earner as a side hustle if you need a second job and you have a car or moped."

On the application process, Jamie added: "Just go on the website, type in Uber courier or Uber Driver and just apply.
"It literally takes a few minutes, and I think they take on anyone pretty much."
He also reminded viewers that it's 'not guaranteed money as well' and that there are times in the week when 'not that many people ordering food'.
"If you need like a quick £100 to like afford a night out or someone's birthday present or something, you just go out and do it and earn quick money," he said.
