Tinder Swindler's Girlfriend Breaks Silence On Netflix Documentary In First Interview

The model has rubbished the claims made in the hit documentary

The girlfriend of the 'Tinder Swindler' has spoken out for the first time since her man became internationally infamous.

Netflix documentary The Tinder Swindler was released earlier this month, with the complex web of lies weaved by Simon Leviev - real name Shimon Hayut - leaving viewers gobsmacked.

The doc centres around three women who were all tricked into handing over hundreds of thousands of pounds to fund his lavish lifestyle and help him con more women into falling for him.

However, in the face of all these allegations, his girlfriend Kate Konlin is standing by him. In fact, the model doesn't believe the claims made against her boyfriend.

She said she doesn't believe the claims made in the show.

Speaking to Inside Edition, she said: "My god, it is like, how someone can build such a fake story."

Asked if she'd ever loaned her boyfriend money, she said: "Of course not."

Leviev also renounced his newfound title.

The twice convicted conman said: "I'm not a Tinder Swindler.

"I'm not a fraud and I'm not a fake. People don't know me - so they cannot judge me.

"I was just a single guy that wanted to meet some girls on Tinder."

His new manager recently told LADbible that she has evidence to prove his innocence.

She told us: "He looks forward to clearing his name and sharing his side."

Rodriguez said that she signed him on 14 February - Valentine's Day - after having watched the documentary, which she felt didn't explain everything.

She said: "I watched the Netflix documentary on 13 February and I was intrigued with the story but I had a lot of unanswered questions.

"I was curious as to what Simon's side of the story was since it was not featured in the show.

"So I searched for him on Instagram and I found his profile and messaged him. He did not reply until Monday 14 February."

Rodriguez revealed that Leviev is now looking at opportunities to use his newfound fame to make a name for himself in Hollywood.

She said: "We are currently in talks for several projects - television and movies."

Rodriguez also confirmed that Leviev is discussing the idea of 'hosting a dating show' and that there had been 'a lot of interest' from film studios about working with him.

But while Leviev looks to advance his career in the States, his victims are still looking to recoup some of their losses.

A GoFundMe page set up by Cecilie Fjellhøy, Pernilla Sjoholm and Ayleen Charlotte has reached more than £164,000 ($222,000).

The trio set up the page with the goal of making £600,000 ($816,000), having lost huge sums to Leviev.
