Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker was catapulted to stardom back in 2018 with the release of his hit song “Leave a Light On”.

The tune reached no.7 on the UK singles chart, and overseas it managed to reach the top spot on the French singles chart and achieved platinum status in both Italy and Switzerland.

Walker has always had a passion for music, and has been interested in performing ever since he was a kid.

He stuck to his passions and has managed to make a successful living out of his talents.

After many successful years performing and releasing new tunes, how much is the star now worth?

Tom Walker's Net Worth:

As of 2022, it is estimated that Tom Walker’s net worth is approximately $3 million dollars (around £2.5m).

According to Famous People Net Worth, Walker is said to earn around $83 thousand per month, coming mainly from his music career.

However Walker does also rake in some coin through social media and advertisements, with his Instagram having over 280 thousand followers!

Thomas Alexander Walker was born in the small town of Kilsyth (near Glasgow) in 1991, but grew up in Manchester.

Whilst in Manchester, his love for music flourished, with the 30 year old himself saying that he was inspired by the talents of AC/DC and Michael Jackson.

Walker’s career began after he graduated with a bachelor's degree from the London College of Creative Media in 2014.

Fresh out of education, it didn't take Walker long to kickstart his career, soon being snapped up and offered a contract.

In 2017 he released his single “Just You and I”, which was picked as Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month Award and earned him recognition from big names in the music industry, such as George Ezra and James Blunt ,for whom he performed as a support act for later that year.

However it was his next big hit, “Leave a Light On”, that really changed Walker’s career forever.

The song flew onto every UK radio late in 2017, and soon influenced many charts across the globe.

This single arrived as part of his debut studio album, “What A Time To Be Alive”, and was the reason that in 2019 he won the Best Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards, as well as the song further being nominated for the Best British Single that Year.

Since then Walker’s career has not slowed down, continuing to be popular among all age groups, it is no wonder why he once again earned himself a slot at the world renowned Glastonbury festival in 2022.
