I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Naughty Boy has been caught lying about his age and saying he's 36.

The music producer has made out that he's four years younger than he really is with even ITV having him down as 36.

ITV

One of ITV's recent press releases states: "Fames for his love of cooking, the 36-year-old hopes to rustle up some meals in the castle by taking on the role of chef. He also hopes to be someone who everyone can confide in."

According to The Sun however, public records show that the star - whose real name is Shahid Khan - was born on 1 January 1981 which makes him 40 (41 on New Year's Day).

It seems this is something he's told porkies about in the past with one of his old school pals speaking to the publication about his age change.

ITV

They told The Sun: "Naughty by name and naughty by nature - he's having a laugh by making out he's younger.

"Shahid's real age is Watford's worst kept secret. It's great he's done so well. But blatantly lying about his age is pretty sad."

Alright, we've all been there (no one ever pretend they were 18 when they were actually 16?)

LADbible have contacted Naughty Boy's reps for a statement.

In the meantime, it's worth remembering that this isn't the first time Naughty Boy has been a bit sneaky.

In fact when the campmates arrived into the I'm A Celebrity castle, he soon admitted to trying to smuggle an array of spices in to camp.

Speaking from the camp's hut, Naughty Boy said: "Before I left I grinded some spices that could make rice and beans actually taste a bit nice.

"So what I did, I put in my sock. This is my Naughty masala, there's cumin seeds, cloves, turmeric, coriander seeds.

"If you ask my mum, eating bland food is like a crime."

He then came out and told his fellow teammates about his attempted plan, but revealed: "I asked them if it's OK if I can use a bit because we're suffering enough as it is and they confiscated it."

Richard Madeley - who had to leave the camp for medical reasons and cannot return - praised him for thinking of the idea and later on in the hunt, he said: "Naughty Boy has already lived up to his name.

"He's smuggled in something for camp. I think that's a real mark of character actually. And you know we've got to bend the rules a bit here.

"I can promise you, having spoken to everybody here, this is not going to be the last time that the rules are bent."
