Johnny Knoxville has taken more than his fair share of kicks to the nuts over the years, so really it was only a matter of time until he was out and about and bumped into someone who taken a shot at his balls.

And that is exactly what happened this week, when Johnny was spotted by a man Dayne who, as a child, had kicked the Jackass star in the show's Cup Test segment. Small world, eh?

Now, while most fellas wouldn't be best pleased running into someone who tried to inflict so much pain on them, for Johnny it 'made his day'. Well, of course it did...

Sharing a photo of himself alongside a now grown up Dayne, Johnny wrote: "This guy walked up to me just now and said, 'My name is Dayne and I kicked you in the nuts when I was 9 years old.'

"He explained that he and his twin brother were two of the kids in the original Cup Test from Jackass the TV show.

"We looked up the bit on my phone and he pointed out both he and his brother to me. Gazing at the footage I must say they both did a terrific job! This made my day."

Oh and, in case you can't quite remember the scene he's talking about, you can check it out here:

Glorious - and if that clip has got you missing the show then there could be some very good news on the horizon as a fourth movie is reportedly in the works.

According to Deadline, Paramount has revealed that a fourth flick will be released in March 2021 a whopping 21 years after it first hit MTV.

The report doesn't give any details as to which of the cast of the original show will be making a return, but 48-year-old Johnny refused to rule out the idea in a 2018 interview with Entertainment Weekly.

He told the news outlet: "It's possible, for sure. It's not like we're saying no. If we did do a new one, we'd have to bring in some new younger guys- just to bring some fresh blood into it. But it's possible."

Here's hoping adult Dayne can reprise his part, too, eh?
