TV Weather Reporter Hits Back After Troll Tries To Body Shame Her

A TV meteorologist has hit back at a troll who attempted to body shame her.

Tracy Hinson, who works for KSDK in St Louis, received a nasty message from a gobs**** online who told her she should wear a 'girdle' to stop her 'stomach overhang'.

Tracy had the perfect response for the troll's body shaming comment.

But rather than get upset over the horrible message from 'Mary', she snapped back to say that she liked cheese and carbs too much to worry about her weight. Amen to that.

The message, which Tracy had the good grace to cut so you couldn't see the sender's name, read: "Do you ever watch yourself giving the weather report? Seems that you need a girdle for the stomach overhang which shorted the front of your dresses!

"Today was not the first time I have noticed this. Maybe you should wear a top that covers the bulge in your stomach."

Can you even imagine being so much of a t*** you'd send that to someone?

Thankfully, Tracy wasn't up for being shamed, and replied with a photo of her tucking into some noodles as well as writing: "Dear Mary, yes I do watch my air checks. NO I will not be strapping myself into a girdle because you don't like my belly. I like pasta, bread and cheese too much to obsess over my weight.

"I like my body and that's all that really matters. Tracy #nomorefatshaming.

She later doubled down on her response by uploading a photo of delicious-looking mac and cheese with a personalised spoon and the words: "Few things in life are more beautiful than this sight right here." Hard to disagree.

Since sharing the post Tracy has been inundated with messages of support from viewers who have heaped praise on her for standing up to the troll and calling out body shaming.

One person wrote: "Bet Mary doesn't have the balls to post her own photo. I think you look amazing. I had pasta twice this week, and in honour of Mary, I'm gonna go make some spaghetti with butter."

A second said: "Dear Tracy, I don't know you, nor have I ever seen you on TV. But this tweet has spread beyond your market and I just want you to know that I hope you meant this deep inside and you change nothing. Thank you for this and props to you. I think you are beautiful. Be you."

While a third chipped in: "I can't believe someone took time out of their day to send that kind of c**p your way."
