Tyra Banks has been criticised for her 'tone deaf' approach to ordering takeaway food, because she admitted to ordering the same dish from loads of different places and then trying them all to see where she'd like to order from again.

Outside of the food waste and needless opulence that is on display there, she's also removing half of the fun and intrigue of buying a takeaway, isn't she?

Now, we can't argue with anyone simply wanting to grab a meal that they don't have to cook to eat at home in these wretched and unpleasant times, but it is obviously a bad look to simply buy more food than any one person could safely eat.

Yet, that's exactly what Banks says that she does.

She tweeted out a picture of her excessive takeaway food and wrote: "Fun fact: I love ordering the same dish from multiple food delivery apps & restaurants at the same time...for real!

"When the goods arrive, I rate and compare everything. Then I know what to order from in the future, and what to skip. Where's your fave place to order delivery from?"

Sadly, it didn't turn into the friendly and healthy discussion that she'd obviously intended. In fact, when has that ever happened on Twitter the entire history of the social media platform?

Never, that's when.

A lot of people piped up to tell her off for being unnecessarily extra at a time when people are struggling through the pandemic and the financial problems that it has created so close to Tyra's (presumably massive) home.

One such critic tweeted: "A reminder that the pandemic and economic crisis only affect the poor. The rich are living their normal life of abundance"

Another simply said: "25,000 people die from hunger every day"

A third joked: "Fun fact! Whenever I send my foot men and valets out to retrieve my food orders I send them each to the same restaurant and rank how quickly they each return.

"The slowest one is fed to the others. For real! Who's your fave man servant to send for food?"

Loads of people have commented comparing Banks' actions to the actions of fellow wealthy person and professional footballer Marcus Rashford, who has been tirelessly campaigning to get free school meals extended for children during school holidays so that they don't go hungry.

Marcus Rashford would definitely order pizza with you and let you have a slice of his once you'd finished it.
