The latest step towards musical superstardom for the British singer was an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' daily talk show The Ellen Show.
She also was given the opportunity to belt out the famous song to all of Ellen's viewers. It's a chance that she took with both hands, you'd have to say.
Basically, it's been a hell of a week for Charlotte Awbery.
Since the clip went viral, she's gone from having 4,000 followers to around half a million. However, some of the names in that horde are pretty impressive, too.
She explained to Ellen that Ariana Grande had followed her on Instagram. Naturally, she reciprocated.
Awbery told DeGeneres: "I followed her back. One of my friends told me [Grande had followed her], and I followed her back."
Well, you've sort of got to, don't you?
Explaining her rise to stardom, she dispelled any accusations that the whole incident - shared by online comedian Kevin Freshwater - was staged.
She said: "I was literally on my way to meet my friend!"
What started as a serendipitous meeting has now been viewed 60 million times on the internet. Decent numbers, given where she was at.
Awbery has actually been working as a singer for 15 years, but this experience could give her career a real lift.
She continued: "I do pubs. I do bars. I do restaurants,
"My dad always said to me, 'Wherever you are, just always sing. Never give up.' He's right."
Freshwater was also in the crowd at the show. Hell, he's got a lot to thank her for, given that his video has now gone stratospheric.
He said: "She just blew me away.
"I was just in shock."
"She deserves this. I was come to tears then, watching you sing. You deserve this."
Because Elle has a habit of not allowing people to walk off her show empty-handed, she also packed Awbery off with some useful stuff for the future.
She gave her £10,000 and a yearly pass for her travel on the Tube. Anyone who has ever used the London Underground knows they ain't cheap.
At this rate, she'll end up doing a duet with Gaga at some point.
Stranger things have happened...
