Actor Will Mellor has confirmed that he and fellow Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star Ralf Little will be reuniting for a new project.

Sharing the good news in an Instagram video, Mellor explained he and his former co-star were teaming up for a new show called Two Pints with Will and Ralf.
Better still, he also revealed that filming will now have started, meaning they've officially got the ball rolling.
In the video he said: "I'm just on my way to start shooting a new project with Ralf Little, it's called Two Pints with Will and Ralf.

"It's set in a pub, me and Ralf having a couple of pints, like Gaz and Jonny, talking about all sorts from the old days to any kind of pub banter.
"Putting the world to rights in our own way, playing a few silly games. You're going to be seeing it soon.
"Hopefully, we're going to be having guests on, music, all sorts of stuff but today's the first day.

"So Two Pints with Will and Ralf coming soon, hope you enjoy it."
Mellor and Little starred as best mates Gaz and Jonny in BBC sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, which ran for 10 years between 2001 and 2011, alongside Natalie Casey, Sheridan Smith, Kathryn Drysdale and Luke Gell.
While it doesn't sound like the rest of the Two Pints cast will have anything to do with the new project, at least we can watch Gaz and Jonny's real-life counterparts put the world to rights - especially as it's something that Mellor actually promised us a while ago.
Back in June last year, Mellor teased that something was in the pipeline in another Instagram video, telling fans that there was a special 'on the way'.
He said: "Recently, since Two Pints came back - it is on at 11 o'clock every night on Gold, they are showing every episode - people have been messaging me about how much they miss the show and how much it was part of their growing up, saying 'Please bring it back for a special or do something'."

He continued: "Well, I have been listening and reading your messages and I think we are going to get a Two Pints special off the ground.
"I spoke to Susan Nickson [the show's creator] and we are hopefully going to try and get a Two Pints special going. Just to say thank you for all the support of people who love the show and got behind it.
"Watch this space, just got to dot the Is and cross the Ts and hopefully a Two Pints special will be on the way."
Well, it looks like those Is and Ts have finally been dotted and crossed, which means it's surely only a matter of time before the Two Pints lads are back on screens.

There's no word yet on when the new show might air, but we'll keep you posted.
