A TV star learned that his wife had put a hit out on him while he was in the middle of filming an episode.
American spirit hunting show Ghost Adventures follows a host of paranormal aficionados as they investigate supposedly haunted locations, but for once, the secret truth uncovered was very, very real.
Aaron Goodwin was setting up at a location with co-host Jay Wasley when he said 'I feel like something's happening', and indeed he was about to receive life-shattering news.

His phone suddenly buzzed and it turned out the police were trying to get in contact with him, with Aaron stepping out to digest what he'd just learned.
Wasley asked him if he was alright, with Goodwin replying: "Bro, the police are at my house."

After this point Ghost Adventures announced they wouldn't be showing any more footage of the moment, with the narrator explaining that Goodwin then got a call from the police telling him why they were at his house.
Officers told the TV star that his wife had just been arrested for putting out a hit on him and hiring someone to do the deed.

Aaron Goodwin's wife Victoria had been arrested in March over solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder, and the following month, she accepted a plea deal in which she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder.
She was sentenced to between three and seven-and-a-half years in prison.
Her arrest report claimed she had been messaging a Florida inmate named Grant Amato, with her allegedly asking him: "Am I bad a person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce."
Police claimed that Victoria Goodwin planned to pay Amato $11,515 (£8,626) to carry out the hit on her husband, and that she had been plotting to kill her husband since October 2024.

TMZ reports that the murder plot was discovered when correction officers seized Amato's phone as contraband.
Several days after his wife was arrested, Aaron filed for divorce, with him saying there was 'no possibility of reconciliation between husband and wife'.

Posting on social media recently, Aaron said he wouldn't be watching the Ghost Adventures episode as he didn't want to go through it all again, and left a message to the media thanking them for reaching out and explaining he's not yet ready for an interview about it.
He said: "I won’t be watching this episode cause I don’t want to relive that night again & what happened before the call.
