Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets' ex-wife breaks silence on his death aged 67

The former wife of beloved Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets has spoken out for the first time since his tragic death.
The 67-year-old, who appeared on the hit TV show from 2010 to 2023, was sadly found dead at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on 22 April.
Police said that he died from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Darrell, who opened up his own antique shop called Havasu Show Me Your Junk after leaving TV behind, is survived by his son Brandon and daughter Tiffany.
The dad, known for belting out his catchphrase 'This is the WOW factor!' when he made a great find, was previously married to real estate agent Kimber Wuerfel.
Nearly ten days on from Darrell's passing, she has now spoken out about his sudden death in a social media post and admitted she has not 'had the words, until now'.
'Darrell gave us so many moments of laughter, connection, and life'
In a post shared to Instagram on Thursday (30 April), Kimber paid tribute to her late ex-husband with a video montage filled with snaps showcasing their memories.
In the caption, she wrote: "I haven’t had the words until now. Thank you for all the love, prayers, and condolences, it has meant more than I can say.
"Darrell gave us so many moments of laughter, connection, and life. May the memories you hold of him stay close to your heart, as mine will stay with me forever. From our family to yours, thank you."
Kimber said that the Storage Wars legend's loved ones will share an announcement in regards to his funeral arrangements in the coming weeks.
The comment section of her post was filled with fans sharing their condolences, with one saying: "Oh Kimber I’m so sorry. So many precious memories with you guys. Darrell truly was one of a kind."
Another wrote: "Will be missed...he left a mark on all who watched him," while a third said: "Sorry for your loss. Darrell was one of my favourites. Still shocked he is gone."
Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office are conducting 'further investigation' into Darrell's death, officials said previously.
Claims of cyberbullying before Darrell Sheets' death
In wake of Darrell's untimely passing, his former Storage Wars co-star René Nezhoda claimed that a 'cyberbully' had been 'tormenting' him in recent weeks.
Nezhoda reminded viewers that just because they see them on TV, it doesn't mean that they 'know' the stars.
"It doesn’t mean you know what we’re about," he said. "Also, it doesn’t entitle you to bully somebody. That’s not [just] us, that’s anybody. That’s any athlete. You shouldn’t cyberbully at all.
“As a matter of fact, if you have somebody in your life that thinks it’s funny to cyberbully other people, may that be a celebrity, athlete or little girl at school… slap ’em in the back of the head.
"Make them become a better human being."
Sergeant Kyle Ridgway, public information officer for the Lake Havasu City Police Department, previously confirmed the force were 'aware' of these accusations and said the claims were 'a part of the active investigation'.
In a statement, the A&E network - which airs Storage Wars - paid tribute to Darrell.
"We are saddened by the passing of a beloved member of our Storage Wars family, Darrell 'The Gambler' Sheets," it said. "Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time."
