AngryGinge completely baffled by item in Luke Littler's house as they appear on Celebrity Gogglebox

Luke Littler has an unconventional choice of decor in his living room

Luke Littler has done a huge amount for the popularity of darts in recent years after exploding onto the sporting scene, and now he's landed a gig on Celebrity Gogglebox with pal AngryGinge.

The 18-year-old won the World Championship earlier this year, making him the youngest player in history to ever win it, which hopefully might change the way other more senior players have reportedly been treating him.

You can probably picture exactly what you'd find in the sporting star's house, given that he's almost certainly now a millionaire - so long as he hasn't wasted too much of his money on FIFA packs, or alcohol, given that he's now legally able to buy it.

But his close friend AngryGinge, who makes football-related videos on YouTube, was shocked at what he found in Littler's living room during a recent episode of Celebrity Gogglebox.

Ginge said: "Yeah just a genuine question Luke. Why the hell have you got a Christmas tree in your house and we're on the 8th of June?"

Littler replied: "Yeah, good question."

Considering most people take their trees down on the twelfth night, which is January 5, Littler has done well to keep his up until the 173rd night - presuming that it's still up now. And given his explanation, it seems unlikely to come down anytime soon.

He added: "We were at the World Championships for the whole of December pretty much, become the champion and we just never took it down. Can't take it down now."

This prompted an appropriate question from Ginge, who asked: "So it's just there forever now?"

"Yeah it's there until next Christmas now," said Littler, before Ginge asked: "But you're going to be at the World Championships again, so is it just gonna stay there again?"

Littler added: "Yeah but when we get back it'll go. Can't be up for a full year."

Although if Luke fancies waiting another couple of weeks, then it will be 180 days until Christmas 2025, and given his affiliation with that number, he might just end up keeping it around.

He might even be able to treat himself to a bigger tree next year, given his earnings reportedly skyrocketed when he turned 18 back in January.
