A body language expert has commented on the moment Bonnie Blue appears to be out of character in her controversial new documentary.

By now, Bonnie Blue is an individual who needs no introduction.

The controversial adult star - real name Tia Billinger - is infamous on the internet for her extreme sex stunts, which have led to her being banned from subscriber site OnlyFans and accused of 'dangerously pandering to male fantasies'.

Despite the continued backlash, the 26-year-old refuses to go away, with Channel 4 releasing a fly-on-the-wall documentary detailing one of her sex most notorious challenges, as well as the reactions from her family and estranged husband, titled 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story.

The documentary has received a mixed response, with several people shocked to see Channel 4 air a programme including explicit pornographic content – prompting the broadcaster to issue a statement in response.

Viewers also picked up on the porn star's worrisome facial expressions in the doc, with one review from The Independent's Olivia Petter writing that Blue's face appears to 'accidentally' slip into an expression 'somewhere between exasperation and boredom' after finishing creating a video to share on her social media accounts.

In the scene, which shows Blue filming a promotional clip for her 1000-men orgy, she smiles seductively at the camera when promoting the event. As soon as the camera switches off though, her face instantly drops.

This isn't the first time that people have picked up on Blue appearing 'dead behind the eyes' in clips, prompting concerns for the Nottingham native's wellbeing.

But is this really a signal that Blue is dissatisfied with her career – or just evidence that it's another day at the office for the adult creator?

According to celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman, it's the latter.

"Bonnie Blue's change of expression when she finishes filming her little video, is indeed notable, but for different reasons than assumed," Honigman explained to LADbible.

Honigman describes Blue's 'engaged facial expression' as her 'friendly work expression', which is something all of us will be familiar with over the years.

"[It'] similar to the sort of face that anyone would pull when greeting the boss in the office, or when on a Zoom with a client," she adds.

"She forms a likeable, generic expression that is crowd pleasing and friendly."

Honigman then explains that Blue's expression after filming the video shows the former OnlyFans model in 'producer mode' as she reviews the video, similar to someone's 'alone at the office expression'.

"The interest here lies in the eyes of the beholder. Some people perceive neutral expressions as hostile, some see them as bored, and for others, neutral facial expressions appear peaceful," Honigman adds.

"Bonnie is quietly getting on with what, for her, is just another day at the office."

1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story is now streaming on Channel 4.
