A theory as to why Zendaya's sex scene in the new episode of Euphoria doesn't show you anything claims it's because there's a clause in her contract which prevents that sort of thing.
In the new series her character Rue hooks up with Angel (Priscilla Delgado) in a car, but viewers don't get to see anything besides the Titanic-esque handprint on the window.
On one hand it could just be a directorial decision, Euphoria already has plenty of that stuff on screen already and sometimes what you don't show is just as important as what you do.
The audience can hear well enough what's happening and any viewers with a basic understanding of the birds and the bees will be aware they aren't just playing a particularly invigorating game of Scrabble in there.

However, Evie suggested that the Euphoria star allegedly has a 'no nudity clause' in her contract meaning she's not going to be getting her clothes off for racy scenes.
They suggested that if this was the case then it might be because she got her acting break on the Disney Channel and so didn't want to go nude on camera.
It might explain why for her scene in Euphoria and her part in the film Challengers the racier stuff doesn't end up on screen as it's only hinted to.
It is only a theory, however, as Zendaya has not spoken out on any such clause in her contract.
Besides, for people who watch TV for that kind of thing there's plenty of it from the other characters on Euphoria, with Sydney Sweeney's Cassie having a plotline where she works as an OnlyFans content creator.
Some of her scenes have her dressing up as a baby or a dog, and in outfits which would leave her in dire need of a cardigan should the temperature turn chilly.

Euphoria is clearly not shy about putting explicit content on screen for viewers, it's certainly not a show to be watching with the kids, and many of the actors performing in it have got their kecks off at one point or another.
Sweeney has made it clear filming such scenes are very much the opposite of tantalising, as she told Grazia: “When you film one of these scenes, it is so technical and so not romantic.
"There are people staring at you, there’s pads between you, there’s nipple covers and weird sticker thongs all up in your butt."
The LADbible Group have contacted Zendaya's representatives for comment.
