Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard has been criticised for making a vagina joke on Saturday Night Live which some have claimed is 'misogynistic'.
He appeared on the comedy show and his monologue was gate-crashed by a couple of his Stranger Things, co-stars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, where they spoke about how they were ready to do 'adult films' now they were no longer kids.
In Wolfhard's monologue, he talked about growing up on camera and the experience of people seeing him get older, but one of the jokes he made hasn't gone down well with everyone.
"My voice changed on camera, my first kiss was on camera, and the first time I learned what a woman looks like down there was on there as well, so we have another clip, I think," he said.

The SNL footage then cuts to show a demogorgon opening its spiky mouth after his last remark.
During the episode, the moment drew laughter and applause, but some others weren't such big fans of the joke.
Some viewers criticised the moment for 'comparing a woman's anatomy to a demogorgon' and 'recycling the same tired jokes about a woman's anatomy'.
The joke was criticised online as 'painfully unfunny, and quite frankly misogynistic', and many others accused the show of 'misogyny' for putting such a joke in the monologue.

Someone else said that things like comparing a vagina to the gaping maw of a monstrous creature 'aren't supposed to be jokes unless you're a braindead bigot', while another said that if they were going to make 'sexist jokes' then they should 'at least try harder'.
Others thought it 'wasn't necessary' and that the joke left them 'shocked', though it did have some people defending it as 'funny' and claiming it was a 'popular joke among the fandom' of Stranger Things.
Elsewhere in his appearance on SNL, there were sketches about Stranger Things where Wolfhard, McLaughlin and Matarazzo imagined a number of possible spin-off ideas Netflix could pursue.
Stranger Things may be over but the trio of actors who appeared on SNL will be looking to the future of their careers.

Still, that hasn't stopped some fans of the Netflix show from convincing themselves there's a 'secret final episode' waiting to be released which will give them everything they want.
The whole furore has been labelled 'Conformity Gate' and despite it being blindingly obvious, there was no secret post-finale episode coming, they still clung to hope.
Perhaps their only victory was that they got made fun of on SNL as a fake Stranger Things spin-off skit where Mike, Lucas and Dustin search for Eleven, said: "Remember that mysterious 9th episode the Internet was convinced existed? It didn’t but it does now."
