Being handcuffed to even your closest friends and family for any extended time would probably drive any of us insane, so it should be no surprise that people handcuffed to strangers end up getting into arguments with them.
Channel 4âs brand new reality TV show Handcuffed does exactly this, pairing up strangers from different walks of life to see how long they can last.
The UK show has some wild combinations, including a self-admitted prudish woman being handcuffed to a Gay OnlyFans creator, as well a self-declared âalpha maleâ being handcuffed to a feminist.
Some of the combinations however saw conflict very early on, with a 79-year-old Baronet who was handcuffed to an ex-Prison officer shoving a director after they refused to give him his phone.

In the newest TV episode however, released yesterday 9 March, one of the pairs end up uncuffing from one another after a heated confrontation.

Sara and Nina have struggled since more or less the beginning of the show, with Ninaâs first impression of Sara being that she was âchatty, animated and slightly annoyingâ.
Sara is a 55-year-old mother of seven from Northamptonshire and Nina is a 42-year-old hairdresser from London, and the pair lasted just over a day handcuffed to one another.
The showâs ÂŁ100k prize money goes to whichever pairing last the longest.
In the first episode Nina was forced to listen whilst Sara went to the toilet, with Sara mocking her and the cameras picking up her straining on the loo before a loud splash is heard.
Unsurprisingly this did not lead to Nina and Sara becoming best friends.

In the newest episode we pick back up with the pair, with Nina telling off Sara for leaving tissues on the ground in her flat, with narrator Jonathan Ross saying that she had been ânearly pushed to breaking pointâ.
After Nina asks her to be âmindfulâ of the tissues she left around the flat, leading Sara to respond claiming itâs not hers and then saying: âIâm more OCD lovely than you will ever be when it comes to tidying.â
Tensions continue after Nina calls that ârudeâ, later saying: âYouâre rude, youâre loud, youâre disrespectful, youâre messy.â
This continues as Nina and Sara argue over them pulling one another around, with Nina saying that âitâs so challenging, itâs really difficultâ putting up with Saraâs antics.
Things escalate even further when the London hairdresser go to take garbage to the chute, with the mum-of-seven saying: âMight bloody push you down the chute.â

On the walk back from this Sara yelps out before yanking on Nina, saying that she wonât allow her to âdrag her around like an animalâ.
She proceeds to tell Nina to âwatch her backâ, and eventually the pair end up in each otherâs faces leading Sara to call for security, saying: âCan I have security in here please? She just got up close and personal in my face.â
The pair are then released from their handcuffs having lasted just over one day and six hours.
Handcuffed episode 1-3 is available to stream on Channel 4 now. Episode four airs on Channel 4 tonight, 10 March, at 9pm.
