Channel 4 have managed to follow up Virgin Island and Open House with yet another reality show which is just as bizarre, Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing.

The brand-new UK reality show sees pairs of people from different walks of life being handcuffed together, with the longest lasting pair earning a whopping £100,000 from the TV experiment.

This has made headlines earlier this week after one of the pairings saw a woman handcuffed to an adult content creator who makes gay explicit videos on OnlyFans.

When handcuffed together pairs have to do everything together, with the duo even having to shower together during the experiment.

Channel 4's Handcuffed however is full of bizarre pairings, one of which included a 79 year old Baronet and a 60-year-old former prison officer.

Sir Benjamin Slade, 79, the 7th Baronet of Maunsel was handcuffed to George, with Sir Benjamin disgustingly defending a painting by Hitler hanging in his house.

60-year-old George told him the painting ‘belongs in the toilet’, with the Baronet defending hanging up the artwork in his home by saying: “I think people need to see that he could paint.”

He added that Hitler was ‘very good with children, dogs, and loved to paint’.

The 79-year-old’s bonkers behaviour did not stop there, however. Sir Ben began storming around his house shirtless, demanding that producers give him back his phone.

Producers refused, citing rules in which contestants were required to hand in their phones to ensure they take the time to get to know each other.

When he wasn’t given his phone he went on a furious shirtless tirade, saying: “It’s my house I want my f*cking phone thanks. I need to check what’s happening in the world.

“I’m not messing, I mean it are you going to get it or not? Get my phone… I don’t think they’re gonna tell me what to f*cking do in my own f*cking house.

“I’ll f*cking tell them, don’t f*ck with me. Bolt cutters now.”

George was praised online for standing up to Benjamin and arguing with the Baronet's upper class friends over their support of Nigel Farage (Channel 4)

He then proceeded to push a director who could be heard saying: "Please do not push me and take your hand off my camera."

The pair were then uncuffed after just over 12 hours with George seeming pleased despite it not being his decision, saying he didn’t ‘want to be part of all this codswallop’.

Despite there being a key held by producers, Ben instead had someone use bolt cutters to separate the pair in an odd move.

The show pairs people up who are broadly opposite from each other, with the idea being about bringing together people from different walks of life.

This included a prudish woman and an adult film star, a self-professed ‘alpha male’ and a feminist’, to a bar tender and a millionaire.

Handcuffed returns on Channel 4 next Monday, 9 March.
