Fans of I’m A Celebrity are shocked after seeing the gap between finalists as ITV have revealed the voting percentages for last night's final.

McFly singer Danny Jones was crowned King of the Jungle, winning out against Reverend Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney.

Jones was emotional after winning the show, telling audiences: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s a lovely feeling to be liked. I gave my all in there, and this means so much to me.”

Reflecting on his time in the jungle and making it to the final, he said: “This is totally insane. I’ve learned so much about myself, and that’s because the campmates were unbelievable.

"It was way harder than it comes across on TV. You’re hungry, you’re tired, you’re lethargic.”

The final voting percentages for the finalists have been revealed however, and they’ve left fans in shock.

When it came down to the final three, here is how the voting went:

- Danny Jones 41.36%

- Coleen Rooney 33.47%

- Richard Coles 25.18%

Then, when it went down to Danny Jones and Coleen Rooney for the final, this is how it went:

- Danny 55.21%

- Coleen 44.79%

Fans were shocked, with one saying: “Quite a big Margin for Danny then!”

Another said: “Thought it was going to be a lot closer than that! Well done Danny #ImACeleb”.

A third added: “Considering Danny had the unfair advantage of his McFly fan base, Coleen did quite well.”

While it is a bit of a stretch to call having fans an ‘unfair advantage’, it does seem as if Danny was set to win this from the start.

Despite winning, Jones will not get to keep his hard won prize.

This is because, as revealed last year by Sam Thompson, 2023's King of the Jungle, ITV take back the crown and sceptre handed out to the king or queen of the jungle.

Speaking about this on This Morning, he said: "I didn't get to keep anything! They wouldn't let me keep anything!"

He went on to say: “I had to give the sceptre back. I really wanted to bring it through airport security because it's quite big. But yeah, I don't have anything to show for it".

As well as this Jones won't get any cash prize for winning.

Not to fret though, he didn't disqualify himself, this is just how the show works.

Each year, contestants only get a flat fee for participating. As long as they last 72 hours in the jungle they will get their money, regardless if they won or left after three days.
