'Huge fallout' expected on I'm A Celeb as campmate branded Nigel Farage as 'irrelevant and useless'

Fans are predicting that the ex-Brexit leader will clash with First Dates star Fred Siriex

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! producers sent shockwaves through the nation earlier this week when they announced the star-studded line-up for this year's series.

Dubbed by many fans as the 'best line-up in years', we've got the likes of Made In Chelsea funny-man Sam Thompson, JLS singer Marvin Humes, This Morning's Josie Gibson and, well, Britney Spears' sister...

But not all fans are thrilled by the big-name hoard of stars set to embark into the Aussie jungle, being that ITV bosses have once again signed up a controversial politician for the show.

Former Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage is amongst those that will be undertaking bushtucker trials within a matter of days, as he attempts to win meals for his campmates.

And producers of the show are said to be already preparing for Independent Party leader Farage to butt heads with one co-star in particular, who previously branded him 'irrelevant and useless.'

First Dates frontman Fred Siriex - another star to be taking part in the gruelling reality series - wrote in a 2017 tweet that the National Assembly of France deputy Marine Le Pen was 'as irrelevant and useless as her friend @Nigel_Farage'.

In another tweet, posted just weeks later, the Channel 4 favourite wrote: "Farage is a coward who likes money, attention & the sound of his own voice far too much.

"Definitely not a selfless idealistic revolutionary."

And just a year later, Fred, 51, tweeted: "In a taxi. Nigel Farage on the radio. Just politely asked the driver to switch to @vibesfm".

The maitre'd has always been proudly vocal when it comes his views against Brexit, a movement that Farage previously fronted and something that Siriex previously described as a 'con'.

Also hitting out at the Home Office back in 2019, Siriex wrote on social media: "@patel4witham @ukhomeoffice Just got a letter from [email protected] apparently you need proof I have been in the UK for last 5 years.

"Is this a joke? I have lived here for 27 years continuously."

Some fans of I'm A Celeb have also predicted that outspoken politician will clash with boxing champion, Tony Bellow.

"If lineups are true, Tony Bellew Vs Nigel Farage in I'm a Celeb?? We will be there", one fan teased.

I'm a Celebrity will return next weekend.

Another tweeted: "The most popular option for #ImAceleb seems to involve Tony Bellew 'lamping' Nigel Farage. Give this a like if that's the sort of TV you'd be liking."

"If the line up for I’m A Celeb is true, I’m fully wanting a bust up between Tony Bellew and Farage, and we are FULLY Team Tony," wrote a third.

The hit ITV show is coming pretty soon as the new series will debut on 19 November, otherwise known as a week tomorrow.
