Kate Scott has previously revealed her 'true' accent as boxing fans were left baffled during tonight's fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul.
While seeing the YouTuber fight the former world heavyweight champion is already crazy enough for most boxing fans, those tuning in were left confused before the first undercard fight even began, after hearing broadcaster Kate Scott, known by many by her maiden name Abdo, with an interesting accent.
Anyone who loves football will be familiar with the 44-year-old, particularly with her appearances on the CBS show with Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry and Micah Richards.
But as the coverage began on Netflix at 1am UK time, fans were probably questioning whether it was truly her after no doubt recognising the voice but being a little confused by the American accent, which she was showing off at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

Abdo, who became Kate Scott after marrying American pro boxer Malik Scott last year, was speaking during the first few moments of the Netflix stream and certainly seemed to sound more Montana than Manchester, which left a lot of fans saying the same thing.
One X user wrote: "Kate abdo? What’s with the American accent??"
Another said: "I see Kate Abdo’s American accent has developed outstandingly since she was covering Champios League football a couple of weeks ago."
A third wrote: "Why is Kate Abdo putting on a really cringe American accent and switching constantly? It’s giving Joey Barton in France."
The presenter's accent certainly wasn't on par with the likes of Barton or Steve McClaren, but fans clearly weren't impressed.
Fortunately, it seems Scott is simply reacting and adapting to her environment, rather than losing her far superior northern English accent, which, as a fellow Manc, I can confirm is truly the best.
During a classic appearance with Micah and the other boys last year, Scott asked why her accent always seemed to change.
She said: "I don't mean to switch my accent. I'm just one of those people, I pick up accents easily and so I tend to go towards wherever I am. If I'm around a bunch of people in Manchester, I will sound more Manc."
She then went on to show off some pretty impressive impressions of her French, Scouse and Brummy co-hosts, which certainly confirmed her adaptability.
Joshua and Paul are set to complete their ring-walk at around 3.30am before the fight at 4, so I'm sure we will get to hear plenty more from the British host throughout the night.
I wish it were taking place in Paris, rather than Miami, not because of the preferable time difference, but because Thierry could have his dream of hearing her in a more permanent French accent fulfilled.
