Why Kiosk Keith was replaced on I’m A Celebrity following years on the show

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is well and truly back, and so are the familiar faces associated with survival reality show.

Hosts and staples of the series Ant and Dec are regularly joined by Kiosk Kev, also known as the bearded cowboy hat guy.

When he's not in the jungle, the 58-year-old from Toowoomba, Queensland - whose real name is Mark Herlaar - happens to work as a lime farmer.

Kiosk Kev joined the show in 2018 after I'm A Celeb bosses were impressed by his appearance on Survivor in 2017, a TV show where contestants face various challenges on a remote island with a cash prize at the end.

Since then though, viewers keep asking what happened to Raymond Grant, otherwise known as the OG Kiosk Keith.

11 years after joining I'm A Celeb as a set builder in 2002, Kiosk Keith would make his on screen debut.

In 2017, however, hosts Ant and Dec said he left the series because he became unwell.

ITV said in a statement in January 2018 that Grant 'is no longer under contract on the show' and that 'there are no plans for him to return this year'.

At the time, a source told The Sun that he allegedly came to work drunk and was said to have made an advance towards a female member of the crew.

“It wasn’t unusual for Keith to turn up to work drunk as he’s done it before but this incident has shocked everyone,” they claimed.

“It happened in front of loads of people, the girl was so upset. As soon as she made a complaint Keith was sacked.”

Keith's ex-wife, Donna, said to the outlet: "They were sitting around and having a few drinks. Keith saw ther girl walk by and gave her a tap on the a**e.

"A young girl walked past and he slapped her on the arse. Everyone laughed.

"She went to the bosses and said it was sexual harassment.

"I’m not condoning that he slapped her on the bottom. No one wants that.

"But he’s being made out to be this horrible man when he really isn’t."
