Angry Ginge opened up about half-sister he's never met while taking a shot at his 'd**k' dad

Twitch streamer and Man Utd fan Angry Ginge grew up on a council estate in Salford, Greater Manchester

Angry Ginge referred to his father as a 'd**k' and 'a massive racist' before he entered the jungle.

The Twitch streamer - real name Morgan Burtwistle - has made a strong impression on Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

He's gone against his online persona, having opened up to the cameras about missing home, feeling overwhelmed by the camp's conditions and coming clean on the time his girlfriend broke up with him on a livestream.

Many fans also seemed to back him when Jack Osbourne appeared to take a swipe when he came back from a Bushtucker Trial.

Prior to the competition, however, Ginge lifted the lid on his turbulent family life and how he's never met his half-sister on his dad's side.

During an episode of the Off Stream podcast in May, he admitted: “I actually do have another sister but never see her because she’s on my dad’s side and I grew up never seeing her.”

On whether he has ever reached out to him, Ginge said: “Yeah, they did try and message my mum on Facebook after stuff had blown up, saying, ‘Just tell him congrats.’

“That’s nice but I’ve grown up with a sister on my mum’s side and a sister on my dad’s side. The sister on my mum’s side, I’ve seen all my life.

“And obviously I’ve got the sister on my dad’s side that I’ve never seen.

“So I suppose the only thing we have in common is that we’ve both got a d**k for a dad.”

Ginge, who was raised on a council estate in Salford, Greater Manchester, went on to call his dad a 'racist', claiming that it was something he noticed as he got older.

“Growing up my dad was a massive racist. It’s only once I’ve grown up I’ve saw this back now. But obviously when I’m seeing him I’m picking bits up [as a child].”

Confirming that he hasn't done anything ‘stupid’ as a result of this, but added: “Now that I’m older I notice it.”

The YouTuber claimed that his dad's nametag on Call of Duty included a racial slur.

In another appearance on the podcast, he said 'the tip of the iceberg' was when 'he used to actually keep moving jobs so this company couldn’t keep tracking him down so he wouldn’t actually pay my mum anything'.

"I also remember as a kid, I cannot count on two hands how many times there would be the back fences kicked in because they were wooden," he added.

"There’d just be cans of Stella and smashed glass outside, which was him," he added.
