Bec Zacharia and Danny Hewitt's Married At First Sight journey came to brutal end after the groom had a change of heart during the final vows.
Despite hitting things off early on, their explosive stint on the Australian version of MAFS finally came to a head.
It came after Bec dropped the 'I love you' on the fourth commitment ceremony and Danny said he 'had strong feelings' for her.
Ahead of the vows, Bec admitted that she couldn't live without him and said: “I’m going to hear exactly what I hope to hear and we run off into the future together.

“I love Danny. Even though we argue, that doesn’t diminish the feelings I have for him.”
In her heartfelt speech, Bec added: “I look at you now and I see the man I want to build a life with.
“A man who has made me see a future for myself that I didn’t see before.
“Today, standing here, I’m choosing you and I promise to choose you every day from here on out.”
Despite calling Bec his 'soulmate', Danny confessed in the final vows that he saw her more as a friend.

He said: “When I think of bringing kids into the world, I want to bring kids into a stable relationship and a stable loving home.
“Honestly from the bottom of my heart, I’m so sorry to do this to you but I can’t be your husband anymore.
“I believe you can have multiple soul mates in life, some who are your best friends and some who are your lovers.
“Bec, I believe you’re my soulmate as a friend, but I’ve come to realise there’s doubt in my mind if you are my soulmate as a lover.”

With tears in her eyes, Bec said: “Okay,” before walking off.
“That was f***ing brutal,” Danny replied.
In a recent interview with PEDESTRIAN TV, Bec said said she felt 'embarrassed' by it all.
"No one should tell someone that they're falling in love with them five days before you know you're going to dump me," she said.

"It's just cruel, especially when you know how strong my feelings are. And I look back now and I'm embarrassed. I'm embarrassed that I allowed myself to get to that point. I'm embarrassed that I didn't act on my gut feeling a little bit more and whatnot."
She added: "But we live and we learn and, you know, it'll never happen again.
"I won't ever be in a position where I allow my heart to fall in love with someone who was telling me things and not showing me things."
