Celebrity Traitors star Maya Jama has hit back after one viewer accused her of being a ‘cow’ towards fellow Traitor James Acaster.
Jama was chosen to be a Traitor on day one alongside Richard E. Grant, however, while he managed to out himself in minutes, the Love Island host has played a far shrewder game.
She’s currently joined by comedian Acaster and content creator King Kenny after past Traitors Grant and Professor Hannah Fry were banished earlier in the season.

Last week, the trio of Traitors were tasked with killing a Faithful in plane sight by making them yawn.
This led to a lot - and I do mean a lot - of theatrical yawning from the Traitors as they attempted to bump off one of the Faithfuls.

In the end it was poor old Ross Kemp that ended up yawning, meaning he was ‘murdered’ and exited the show - so maybe he was right to be so jumpy, eh?
Speaking after it was revealed that he'd been murdered in plain sight, Kemp said: “I mean I was really sensitive to people coming close to me, it could have been a cheers, it could have been anything.
“There’s a great line from Shakespeare. I think it’s Polonius’s advice to his son: ‘To thine own self be true!’ and I have been true to myself. And I have been true to the faithfuls.”
However, it seems one viewer wasn’t impressed with how things played out and posted on X accusing Jama of being a ‘cow’ to Acaster.
They wrote: “Maya being a cow towards James. He did the murder in plain sight while she sat there doing pathetic fake yawns.
“Bash and Michael are two of the strongest clued faithfuls and James is between them. She has her fellow traitor next to her (and still messes up).
But Jama was quick to hit back against the comment and said she it’d been ‘interesting’ to see some of the takes viewers made.

In a since-deleted post shared on X, Jama said: “I wasn’t a cow at all and I may delete this later but it’s been so interesting watching the takes of some accounts on here when if it was the other way round I would be called all sorts as I already am in this thread... Also we both yawned and only one of us could say the line, he just said it first.”
She finished the post by adding: #noticing.
Several other viewers also jumped onto the original post, pointing out that both Jama and Acaster yawned and branding it a ‘bulls**t take’.
Elsewhere in this evening’s episode, former model Jerry Hall was banished by her co-stars.
Speaking after she was voted out, she said: "I've loved being with you all. I've had the most fun. I haven't laughed so much in years.
"Truly, it's been a great pleasure.
"I'm sorry I made some mistakes, but I have always been a Faithful. I told you.
"I love y'all."
