If Mickey Rourke entering the Celebrity Big Brother house alongside Jojo Siwa and Michael Fabricant wasn’t bizarre enough, the actor has immediately sparked controversy.

Rourke has been slammed by viewers as ‘creepy’ for his behaviour towards one of the show's two hosts, AJ Odudu, upon his entry into the house.

The actor, best known for his roles in The Wrestler, Sin City, and Iron Man 2, looked confused walking out onto stage, admitting he ‘hadn’t thought about it’ when asked if he had thought about winning Celebrity Big Brother.

Upon entry he spun the host AJ, grabbing and pulling her towards him in an uncomfortable moment on live TV.

The awkwardness continued however when he turned to AJ, telling her she had a ‘nice outfit’ before looking her up and down.

This sparked the host to tell him ‘stop looking at me’ before ushering him towards the door, with Rourke telling her: “I want to stay with you”.

Whilst the show moved on, with Rourke being pulled into a conga line by Jojo Siwa, many watching were unable to let the moment go.

One CBB viewer tweeted: “Everyone's joking about Mickey Rourke and I get why, but I want to be serious for a second.

“No female TV presenter should be made to feel like AJ just did. He shouldn't have been allowed on this show if he can't control himself around women. I hated that ngl.”

Another said: “Jokes aside. Mickey Rourke made AJ very uncomfortable when he was entering the house.

“I do hope he goes out soon as that behaviour was unpleasant & unprofessional.”

A third tweeted: “And every woman just cringed in horror at Mickey Rourke ogling AJ like that.”

Others went even further, calling for the actor to be removed from the house.

One woman tweeted: “I don't care if bosses are paying him £500,000, nor do I care that he's an Oscar-winning Hollywood star.

“Reprimand Mickey Rourke [...] and remove him from the #CBBUK house immediately.”

Another viewer reiterated this, saying they ‘put money’ on the actor to be kicked out in the next few days.

The moment was once again discussed on Celebrity Big Brother’s spin-off after show Late and Live, with comedian Alan Carr saying: “Can we talk about Mickey Rourke looking at you? Wow his eyes.”

He went on to add: “Find someone who looks at you the way Mickey looks at you [AJ]. His tongue was hanging out.”

The presenter went along with the jokes, saying: “I was like 'You can't afford these feathers Mickey, no!’”
