The Curious Case of Natalia Grace was a three-part documentary that was released in 2023, looking at the story of two adoptive parents unknowingly 'adopting a 22-year-old woman'.

Natalia Grace came out shortly after that documentary was released, sharing her side of the story stating: "I have never done anything that Kristine and Michael have said that I have done."

The story hit news channels all over the world as her former adoptive parents, Michael and Kristine Barnett, claimed that she was a 22-year-old woman, not a disabled 6-year-old girl and that she had plans to murder the entire family.

Natalia had been adopted by another couple following the fallout named Antwon and Cynthia Mans.

Earlier this year, The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks was released on Investigation Discovery, providing a platform for Natalia to challenge and speak against the claims made against her in the first instalment of the documentary by the Barnetts.

From the documentary, it seemed like Natalia had moved on from her troubles with the Barnetts and was ready to live her own happy life, but the final episode revealed that her new adoptive parents called the producers saying she 'stabbed her family in the back' and that they are 'done with her.'

Cynthia Mans has recently come out though, speaking to the US Sun: “We are absolutely perfect.

“No, she doesn’t live with us but we are fine.”

She confirmed that Natalia is currently 'living with friends', but that the Mans are still in regular contact with their adoptive daughter, revealing a screenshot of the three FaceTiming each other.

Cynthia continued: “It’s rough but with God, we gonna make it. I am in prayer.”

The publication then stated that she could not go into any further detail as they are currently filming for the follow-up season.

Natalia also provided an update on her Instagram account, telling followers: “I am okay and doing well and thank you all for your support and prayers. I wish I could tell you more about the show but I signed an agreement with the show to keep things confidential for now. I will let you guys know when I can for sure, but just know I am okay. Love y’all.”

It is currently unclear as to why Natalia fell out with her current adoptive parents, with a lot of speculation doing the rounds.

You can watch The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks on Discovery Plus in the UK.
