Just when we thought we'd learned everything about Natalia Grace's story, her new adoptive family have gone and revealed another twist in the case.

Natalia first made headlines last year, when the wild documentary The Curious Case of Natalia Grace was released and revealed shocking allegations about the Ukrainian orphan.

The documentary detailed how Natalia's adoptive family legally changed her age to make her an adult after allegedly finding 'evidence' that she wasn't six years old as they'd initially thought.

However, a follow-up documentary, dubbed Natalia Speaks, has offered up Natalia's side of the story as she claimed she was victimised by her adoptive parents.

Natalia accused Michael and Kristine Barnett of 'ruining' her life, but she appeared to have found happiness with a new adoptive family, parented by Antwon and Cynthia Mans.

The couple appeared supportive of Natalia throughout Natalia Speaks, but as the series came to an end, the pair dropped a bombshell which left viewers reeling.

The documentary revealed that six months after Natalia was adopted by the Mans, producers got a 'shocking phone call'.

In a voiceover, Antwon could be heard speaking with producers and claiming: “Something ain't right with Natalia."

"This girl is tweakin," he continued. "I feel like she's the enemy in the house. And she said to us, we have held her hostage. Made us look like we're the enemy."

Cynthia joined in with the accusations as she said: "Natalia is stabbing her family in the back over a complete lie."

Antwon went on to claim Natalia had 'done other things', but continued: "This was a new low. Natalia does not have emotions for nothing but herself.

"We're done. We're done with her."

With the parents' claims coming right at the end the documentary, viewers have been left with more questions than answers.

Many have taken to X to share their frustrations, with one writing: "I’m begging anyone who watched s2e6 of the Natalia Grace docuseries to tell me WHAT happened inside the Mans house after filming ended… biggest bombshell ever."

Another wrote: "Natalia’s story has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. It’s one of the most interesting true crime stories I have ever encountered.

"I’m looking forward to the next chapter: The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia vs. The Mans."

Thankfully, it does seem like everyone's questions will be answered as the show concluded with the words: "Natalia's story will continue."

It's unclear when the next instalment of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace will air - but hopefully fans won't have to wait too long.
