"This series came yesterday I want honest reviews that it worth to watch," they wrote.

One person replied: "Just watched it in one day I loved it!" while another said: "Watching it now... I’m on ep 3 100% worth the binge watch!"

And a third added: "Just finished. It’s a must watch."

Others described it as "10/10" while another said: "I absolutely loved this. Exciting, quite scary... Mostly great acting and fabulous direction and sound design. The director is the guy who directed and wrote Train to Busan."

The series, Parasyte: The Grey is set months after mysterious spores begin to fall from the sky.

Jeong Su-in, who is a shop assistant, is infected by one of the parasites, but something isn't quite right.

In most people, the parasites are able to control the mind of the human they inhabit, as well as sprouting some pretty terrifying powers, including razor sharp tentacles.

But in Su-in, she's still able to control her own mind.

Although the consequences of the spores are at first kept secret from the public, a special task force known as The Grey is set up to deal with the issue.

Despite the parasites have one main goal - to infect and take over humanity - the fact that they are unable to fully infect Su-in allows her to work with authorities to try and combat the threat.

The parasites want to take over humanity.

The series is based on the original manga series Kiseiju, which was created by Hitoshi Iwaaki, and is six episodes long.

Many viewers have been left wanting more, with people already calling for a season two of the show.

"I NEED PARASYTE THE GREY SEASON 2 RIGHT NOW!!!!!!" One wrote on X.

While another said: "That last scene in Parasyte: The Grey Season 2? Or what?"

If you want to watch the series, you can catch it on the streaming platform now.

Each episode is around 45-60 minutes long, which is perfect for a Netflix binge.
