Nick Knowles and his girlfriend will be building a new life together now that the DIY SOS star has popped the question.
It will be the third time down the aisle for the 60-year-old, who proposed to his 33-year-old beau Katie Dadzie, on a recent trip to New Orleans.
Whilst they might not be phased about their age gap, there was one thing the TV presenter couldn’t quite fix for the romantic moment: getting the right ring.

Whilst most women want diamonds, Dadzie didn’t seem disappointed by her ‘Haribo’ ring and excitedly shared the news with fans on social media.
In fact, the 33-year-old beamed in the photos as Knowles proposed in the US.
She later showed off her sweet ring, gushing in the caption: “So last minute something special happened in New Orleans.”
Not to be outdone by his other half, the DIY SOS star also shared the post on his Instagram stories yesterday (4 August).

The 60-year-old also hit back at the tabloids, who’d broken the story earlier that day, writing: “As people were trying to announce it before us there was a Haribo ring incident in New Orleans.”
He added that he was ‘very happy’ and then shared another photo of him and Dadzie on holiday together.
It’s understandable why the TV personality has so hard on critics, after the couple came under intense scrutiny for their 27-year age gap.
After the pair were papped last year, their respective social media accounts was flooded with negative comments about their relationship.

Knowles later expressed his frustration and wrote on Twitter: “I’m raging. The woman I was out to dinner with when we were papped is 32, has degrees in two subjects, runs 3 businesses, is a mother of 2, is wealthier & more successful than me & is intelligent & independent unlike the abusive trolls attacking her.”
He pointedly added: “What happened to #bekind?”
Thankfully, their proposal hasn’t been targeted by trolls, with Knowles’ colleagues wishing them well in the comments.
Among them was Presenter Nicki Chapman, who wrote: “Amazzzzzing! Congratulations to you both!”

Radio host Kirsty Gallacher also offered her congratulations in the comments to the presenter and the mum of two.
“Massive congratulations Katie and Nick. Never seen you look so happy,” added a third.
Whilst there’s no date for nuptials yet, Knowles won’t be bricking it about the big day as he’s already been married twice before.
The TV personality was previously married to Gillian Knowles in 1995, and then Jessica Moor in 2012.
However, he met his new fiancé after their children became friends at playgroup.
