Woman points out Prison Break filming mistake that fans 'never noticed'

The series aired from 2005 to 2017 and it built quite the following

If you like to watch bad boys getting locked up and fighting back against the man, then this show is something you need to raise the archives for.

However, there’s something that you might not realise when you first watch it, but after this article, you’ll never be able to unsee it.

Prison Break was the ultimate show for men and women (mostly women) between 2005 to 2017.

It was a great series which depicted a structural engineer locking himself in a prison he helped to design, so that he could save his brother from a death sentence as he had been falsely accused.

Essentially, he had to break them out, which is why it’s aptly called ‘prison break’.

Anyway, there were a lot of moments in the show which made audiences laugh, cry and even sit on the edge of their sofa as they scream for the characters to hurry the f*ck up before they get caught.

Such as the case with this one scene.

In this scene from the show, the protagonist Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) was unscrewing a component in the cells, and you’d better believe that bad things would happen if an officer was tipped off about his attempt to mess with his security.

Basically, the scene really got audiences hearts racing as they didn’t know whether or not he’d be caught red handed.

However, according to a woman on TikTok, he wasn’t actually doing anything to land him in solitary.

That’s because there was no screw in Scofield's hand, or anywhere in sight for that matter.

Whether it was intentional or not (definitely not), it doesn’t appear that many people noticed the lack of screwdriver in the screw.

Taking to the platform, she shared a 10 second clip where she wrote: “Watching prison break and realizing Michael wasn’t unscrewing anything.”

How did that get missed in post-production, ay?

Well, according to other fans of the show, they didn’t see it either.

One person speculated: “We never noticed because he was just too pretty.”

Another joked: “He was screwing us.”

Someone else shared: “I watched prison break series over 3 times and never noticed that.”

A fourth commented: “Mans so smart that he outsmarted us.”

While so many people were left heartbroken when the series ended in 20017, there are still some stories to tell from Fox River State Penitentiary.

Last year, Entertainment Weekly reported a Prison Break reboot is officially in the works at Hulu.

The streaming service hired Mayans M.C. co-creator and showrunner Elgin James to lead the project where the reboot 'will not follow the characters of the original saga but is set in the same world'.

One person however is returning, and that’s the man who played Lincoln Burrows.

Dominic Purcell wrote in a cryptic post on his Instagram, writing: "Rumor number 1. I'm old. Yes. I'm 50.....

"Rumor number 2. I'm bald. No I have a full head of hair; the people demand I shave it.

"Rumor number 3, Will season pb 6 happen. Yes.....

"Rumor number 4. Do I like humans? No. Not on mass. Definitely not."
