Warning: This article contains spoilers for Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2
There has been a glaringly obvious mistake spotted in the latest episodes of Stranger Things.
While some fans might be slamming Volume 2 of the fifth and final season as ‘underwhelming’ or being left baffled by a major scene, others have noticed something rather out of the ordinary. And not Upside Down kind of extraordinary, but rather to do with fashion.
Yep, with Stranger Things known for sticking tightly to the style of the 80s, a moment in episode seven seems to stray quite far from this, with fans really believing they were ever meant to see it at all.

“Would this be their ‘Starbucks coffee cup on a medieval set’ moment?” one joked.
Ah yes, while the Duffer Brothers may say there are major differences between their show and Game of Thrones in terms of killing characters, it seems there might be similarities perhaps in having an on-set mishap.
That’s because fans have noticed that little Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher) seemed to be wearing a long sleeve Under Armour shirt while she was stuck in Vecna’s (Jamie Campbell Bower) Pain Tree.
The brand’s distinct logo is visible when the panicked kid is desperately trying to break free from the fresh, pushing her limbs through the grim tissue and ripping it apart.

Described by fans as a ‘blink and you’ll miss it moment’, as her left arm punches through, the Under Armour branding is clear as day on her wrist.
It really doesn’t seem to make sense either, as viewers have correctly pointed out that the sportswear company was founded in 1996. That’s a whole nine years after Stranger Things is set, with none of the other characters ever seeming to don Under Armour clothing with their 80s get ups.
“Ts p**sed me off even more how did they not notice this,” one user wrote on X as others asked: “How does something like that even slip by?”

“Now that’s funny,” another responded as a third said: “Duffer Bros missed this one bad.”
Fans couldn’t help but draw comparison with Game of Thrones’ infamous Starbucks cup hiccup as they joked: “Close enough welcome back GoT season 8.”
But some loyal fans defended the show as they simply wrote: “A mistake could happen anywhere, there is no need to dwell on it,” as one joked: “Wait this show isn’t real?”
LADbible Group has contacted Netflix for comment.
