After an incredible first series, Rivals returned for a second on Disney+ yesterday (15 May).
And as we waited to see what would happen to David Tennant’s character Tony, it’s fair to say we were also anticipating plenty more nudity again.
Last series of course left us stunned with the infamous naked tennis scene as Emily Atack went fully nude, setting the tone for the show.
Adapted from Jilly Cooper’s legendary 80s novel series, Rivals also stars the likes of Danny Dyer, Alex Hassell and Katherine Parkinson.

And delivering the second season’s early iconic nude scene is Aidan Turner as Declan O’Hara.
Armed with just a cereal box, there’s emphasis on iconic here, as the moment also features EastEnders legend, Pam St Clement, as she gets quite the eyeful.

Also better known as the Poldark actor, Turner went fully nude in the Rivals season two opening episode.
After Declan has sex in the shower with Maude (Victoria Smurfit), the pair end up arguing and she kicks him out of their hotel room.
And as he’s stood in the corridor banging on the door, who else should he bump into but St Clement and her pal?
Awkwardly making eye contact with the Pat Butcher actor, he grabs the best thing he can find to try and protect his modesty: a box of Kellogg’s Crunch Nut Corn Flakes from a breakfast trolley.
“Ladies,” Declan says with a nod, still dripping from the shower. And as he turns to walk away and reveals his bare bum, he swaps over the cereal box.
But the comedy is completed by St Clement’s iconic comment.
She seems to recognise him as a famous Irish TV interviewer and as the show is set in the 1980s, she double-takes as she asks: “Is that Terry Wogan?”

As viewers get busy with binging the new season as soon as possible this weekend, the Pat Butcher x nude Poldark crossover has taken many by surprise.
“Well I wasn’t expecting to see Pat Butcher pop up in the new series of Rivals,” one wrote on X.
“Pat Butcher in Rivals unbelievable scenes,” another echoed.
And a third wrote: “The way I screamed when Pat Butcher showed up in Rivals you would’ve thought she was Beyoncé LMAOOO.”
Rivals had been promised to be ‘bigger, better and bolder’ as it returned for its second season and LADs, it seems it’s not disappointing.
Rivals seasons one and two are now streaming on Disney+.
