Sequel to 'greatest scene in history' airs as another man watches his girlfriend with another bloke on TV

It's been over a year since the original 'Montoya, Por Favor!' clip aired and broke the internet.

We all remember the iconic snippet of reality TV, which saw contestant José Carlos Montoya react dramatically to a video of his girlfriend getting it on with another man, right?

It was part of Spanish reality TV series La Isla de las Tentaciones, based on the original American series Temptation Island.

If you aren't familiar, the series consists of couples going to a tropical island where they are split up, and live in houses with single people who try to get them to have affairs.

Yes, it's that explicit.

While it is funny to look back at that moment, it's worth looking at the newest season of the show, as a clip of a similar scenario has gone viral this week.

Montoya may have screamed and pulled his shorts up in agony, but a new contestant named Gilbert has grabbed the attention of social media users with his own reaction.

Unlike his predecessor, Gilbert watched a video of his girlfriend getting off with a bloke in a pool with other contestants, and was in disbelief.

He remained silent, instead moving closer to the tablet which was displaying the video of the two, before watching them finish their snog.

Gilbert then took the tablet, closed it in its case, and threw it at the beach behind them, before legging it to the other house on the island to confront his girlfriend, Claudia.

They shout in Spanish to each other, with the former audibly hurt by what she's done, while the latter needed to be held back and even picked up to stop her from getting to him.

At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 4.9 million views.

It was captioned: "I'm dead, I just saw that on the Spanish version of Temptation Island they've found a new Montoya!"

In the comments, one user joked: "LMAOOOO he's positioned like a ref in front of the VAR, his girl's tongue flick + the presenter's face, the same crazy s***."

Another pointed out: "I'll never understand the point of going on these shows when you're in a relationship—if you want to solidify your relationship, that's not the kind of show you should be going on.

A third user said: "The guy in black has insane cardio. The speed at which he caught up," they said of the crew member who stopped Gilbert from getting into the other tropical island getaway.

Some noted the presenter's hilarious expression after Gilbert's girlfriend slipped the tongue, but she also didn't try to chase after him like she did Montoya.

While it is still some way away from the 110 million+ views which the original Montoya video garnered, in addition to the millions in reposts, it is yet another outrageous moment on Spanish reality TV which will be remembered.
