Well, what a run of episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? we’ve had so far.
From a rare full £1 million winner to the other end of the scale – the show’s second ever biggest loser.
And last night (7 June), host Jeremy Clarkson was forced to apologise to the hopeful contestant sat opposite him.
The farm boss has been hosting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? since 2018, guiding people through the questions and chipping in when they use a lifeline to ask for his help.

But in this latest episode on ITV, the quiz host wasn’t quite of the use that data analyst Natalie Waldegrave was hoping for when she was looking to continue on with the game.
She’d said she wanted to use any winnings to give her boost in getting on the property ladder.

The woman sailed through her first eight questions before opting to use her ‘ask the audience’ lifeline on a question about metal.
They helped her get that right in the studio and so she progressed further.
Having then also used up her 50/50 lifeline, she was left with little at her aid as she reached the £64,000 question.
Natalie asked Jeremy to set her safety net but in order to secure it she faced a question all about lakes.
And I can’t lie LADs, I’d be instantly out on this one.
The Grand Tour star asked: “Which of these popular tourists lakes is the largest by area?”
Here’s your potential answers: Lake Windermere, Lake Garda, Lake Tahoe and Lake Titicaca.
Relatably, Natalie had already confessed that geography wasn’t her ‘strongest point’ and so decided to enforce her lifeline of ‘Ask The Host’.
But, unfortunately for her, Jeremy admitted that he was ‘useless’ himself and didn’t actually give her a definitive answer.

The host ended up saying sorry to her as we said he ‘could only apologise for the question’ as he didn’t even think ‘anyone in the room or the world’ would be able to answer it.
So, Natalie decided she’d have to use her fourth and final lifeline, seeing as she still wasn’t sure on the ‘nightmare’ question.
She phoned her brother Daniel but he didn’t know the answer either and eventually opted to take home the £32,000 she’d already banked.
But, in a pretty painful moment, Jeremy decided to ask which answer she’d have gone for as a guess before she got off.
Natalie chose ‘Lake Titicaca’ and LADs, if she had played on with that, she’d have set her safety net at £64,000 and progressed to the next question.
Oh well though, she was still happy to leave with her tidy £32,000 and put that towards buying her home.
