It feels like Plan B is a guy that hasn't been around all that much recently, but is definitely someone people will all remember.

The musician and actor, real name Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew, or Ben Drew, began making a name for himself in 2006 with the release of Who Needs Action When You Got Words. He reached mainstream success with collaborations with Chase & Status, most notably 'End Credits', the soundtrack to the film Harry Brown, in which Drew acted.

His second album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks, a soul concept album, brought him great success in 2010 with singles like 'Stay Too Long', 'She Said', 'Prayin' and 'The Recluse'.

Since then he's released Ill Manors, a soundtrack album to a film of the same name, but was then fairly quiet until earlier this year. In May he announced via twitter that he was working on an album following his first single in five years 'In The Name Of Man'.

So now he's back in the public eye people are reacquainting themselves with him, but they're noticing a stark difference in his appearance.

He performed new material at Shakespeare's Globe in London, showing off his trim figure while donning some odd face paint.

Back in 2010, after filming The Sweeney with Ray Winstone, he revealed that is was his co-star who goaded him into beginning to cut some weight, which has clearly carried through to today.

Still, looking alright, isn't he?
