Wrath of Man was released in May 2021 and stars Jason Statham as H, a cash truck driver who raises questions about his past after successfully fending off his truck from would-be robbers.

An official synopsis teases: “Mysterious and wild-eyed, a new security guard for a cash truck surprises his co-workers when he unleashes precision skills during a heist.

“The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from. Soon, the marksman's ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.”

The movie, which is loosely based on a French film entitled Cash Truck, saw Ritchie and Statham reunite for the first time since 2005’s Revolver.

Alongside Statham, Wrath of Man also stars Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, and Scott Eastwood.

It has a not-too-shabby score of 7.1 on IMDB and an impressive 90 percent Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

While on social media, film fans have been praising the flick branding it a ‘classic’ and seriously ‘underrated’.

Posting on Twitter one fan said: “Just watched Wrath of Man (2021) for the first time, and holy s** what a movie…

“Mean as f**k and absolutely rips. Statham is at his most vicious and relentless here. When it originally came out I heard a lot of great things about it from Action Twitter & it did not disappoint.”

Another wrote: “I don't know how many times I have watched Wrath of Man but I've enjoyed it every single time. I wanna watch it again. Also anything with Jason Statham please.”

Someone else said: “Wrath of Man remains one of 2021’s most underrated movies.”

A fourth commented: “Two of the biggest surprises for me last year were Copshop and Wrath of Man. Both crime genre films that were a blast from beginning to end. Seek them out if you missed them.”

If you fancy checking out what all the fuss is about, Wrath of Man is available to stream on Amazon Prime now.
