Amy Bradley’s mum has pointed out a huge flaw in the FBI’s investigation into her Royal Caribbean cruise ship disappearance as part of a new interview.

Amy Bradley went missing in 1998 whilst on a cruise with her parents and brother Brad.

This has sparked numerous true crime theories over the years as a body was never found, and several people have claimed to have spotted her in Curaçao.

Following a Netflix documentary that went viral however, titled Amy Bradley is Missing, the case has seen a number of leads crop up.

In a new interview however, it was revealed that the FBI had provided information to the Amy Bradley family which contradicts theories that she is still alive.

This has led Amy’s Mum, Iva, to come forward and speak out about this.

This came in a new interview with the Bradley family in People Magazine where they discussed why they still believed her to be alive and what they’re doing to try and find her.

Amy’s family, while co-operating with the FBI, have their own team of investigators who have been chasing down leads and tips.

This includes a ‘verified sighting’ from a Curaçao man which Brad Bradley has spoken about who claims to have seen Amy as recently as 2016.

Amy’s family are adamant she is still alive and the FBI’s investigation into her is still open, however in the new interview a small detail seemingly confirms that they do not believe she is alive.

In People’s interview they state that Iva had been told by the FBI after the documentary’s publication that they do not believe there is any evidence that Amy left the family’s room on the night of her disappearance, March 24, 1998.

Amy’s mother, Iva Bradley, does not agree with this though and pointed to one specific woman who she felt could crack the case.

On the morning of Amy’s disappearance there were two young girls on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship who claim to have seen Amy with Alister ‘Yellow’ Douglas.

Yellow is one of the last people to have been seen with Amy and played in the ship’s band, however, he volunteered for an FBI polygraph test and is not considered a current suspect.

The family have remained wary of him over the years however, leading Iva Bradley to say when asked about the FBI’s claim there is no evidence Amy left their room: “My response was, ‘Nobody interviewed the mother of the two girls that opened the door that morning at 6 a.m'.”

Iva went on to give a heartbreaking update on how the family continue to search for her after 27 years.

She said: “We get up in the morning, we say, ‘Maybe today', and we follow leads, and we take calls.

“Then at night we have a special little kiss for Amy, and we say, ‘Maybe tomorrow'.”
