Adele Stops Concert To Tell Audience Member To Stop Filming Her

Adele Stops Concert To Tell Audience Member To Stop Filming Her

"You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera."

Nowadays it's pretty hard to go to a football match, a comedy gig or a concert without seeing just about everyone filming it with their phones.

It's fair play, if you want the memory of the event then get a quick snap, or maybe even a short video to show your mates.

Filming the entire thing, however, pretty much negates the point of going to the event.

Adele, a woman who is obviously used to being filmed quite a lot, got a bit upset with a fan who was continually filming her.

So much so that she stopped her concert to ask the audience member to stop.

The singer says: "Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with your video camera because I'm really here live, you can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera."

"This isn't a DVD, this is the real thing and I'd really like you to enjoy my show. There's lots of people outside who couldn't come in."

It's just highly ironic, and a sign of the times, that we're all made aware of this via someone else recording it on their phone.
