Who is Aubrey O’Day? What is her net worth in 2022?

Who is Aubrey O’Day? What is her net worth in 2022?

The singer/songwriter has attracted attention for her social media posts recently.

American singer/songwriter Aubrey O’Day has been at the centre of recent controversy after social media began speculating that O’Day had been photoshopping her content.

The pictures of the former Danity Kane member living abroad show O’Day posing in exotic locations around the world.

According to O’Day’s geotags, almost all of the images were taken in Bali, Indonesia, but social media users aren’t buying it.

What is Aubrey O’Day’s net worth?

As of 2022, Aubrey O’Day’s net worth is $4 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Born on February 11, 1984, in San Francisco, California, O’Day is best known for being a member of the girl group Danity Kane.

O’Day has also performed in the duo Dumblonde with former Danity Kane bandmate Shannon Bex since 2015.

Prior to joining Danity Kane, O’Day was a child performer, playing the lead in several musicals including The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Fiddler on the Roof and Rent. She attended La Quinta High School and graduated with a degree in political science from UC Irvine.

O’Day emerged as the breakout star on MTV's competitive reality show Making the Band 3 in 2004, where she was picked on the show to be the first member of girl group Danity Kane.

Their first album debuted in 2006 and reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, before going on to open for Christina Aguilera and the Pussycat Dolls.

After being fired from the band in 2008, O’Day began playing the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Broadway production of Hairspray, and starred in the 2009 comedy American High School

In 2010, she got her own reality show called All About Aubrey, which premiered on the Oxygen Network, and, in 2011, she signed a solo record deal with SRC/Universal Motown Records.

Her first debut single, 'Automatic', was released in 2011 and reached the top 20 on the iTunes pop chart in under two hours.

O’Day has also released solo songs such as 'Wrecking Ball', 'Love Me When You Leave', 'Let Me Lay', 'Before I Drown' and, in 2021, 'Body Love High'.

Additionally, O'Day has made appearances on reality television shows, including the fifth season of Celebrity Apprentice, Famously Single, Ex on the Beach, and the British Celebrity Big Brother 18

However, O’Day has returned to the spotlight due to recent controversy surrounding her Instagram content, even going so far as to momentarily lock her account after speculation of photoshopping escalated.

The singer hit back, saying: “If I want my Instagram to be curated like a museum of ART then that’s what the f**k is going to happen.

"I’m an artist, a REAL creator. I do all of my creative, from my music to my flicks. Everything from my hair, glam, nails, styling, backdrops, editing, shooting."

O’Day also went on to explain the reason for her highly stylised holiday photos, saying 'the weather isn’t always perfect when I shoot, and I vacation alone'.

She also released several other candid photos of herself during her Bali trip in an attempt to silence her doubters.

“I don’t need to be flown places. Let alone the fact that a lot of the shots I give y’all are in places you have to spend hours scaling mountains to get to,” she said.

“Respect my aesthetic, I work hard to give y’all beautiful content that feels the way the places I travel vibrate. Because I want y’all to vibrate high with me.”
