With Soccer Aid 2022 finally here, everyone is wanting to know more about the celebrities joining the ex-pro footballers. Amongst the stars this year we have One Direction’s Liam Payne, who is captaining England, and world record sprinter Usain Bolt, who is leading the World XI. Also wearing the Soccer aid England jersey (for the third time in a row now)  is YouTube sensation Chunkz. So who exactly is the social media star?

Who Is Chunkz And What Is His Real Name?

Amin Mohammed aka Chunkz is a rapper and YouTube personality, who currently boasts 2.29 million subscribers and 142 million video views. He also has a following of 3 million on Instagram. Aside from the pranks, challenges, sports commentary and quizzes that you can see on his channel, Chunkz is into rapping. He regularly posts rap battle videos on the channel, and his appearance as Asznee in the 2017 infamous "Man's Not Hot,'' also helped him soar to fame.

As a first generation British Somali, Chunkz is very proud of his heritage, saying “I love being Somali,” and explained that when he was at school ‘To some people, being Somali was an L.” Since being a kid Chunkz dreamed about having a career in YouTube, this eventually led him to dropping out of Uni to pursue his goal.

The star told The Guardian: “I remember waking up for a lecture during the first few weeks of university, and I genuinely stared at my ceiling for 45 minutes, near tears, just thinking: I can’t do this. I had this pressure [weighing on me] that my parents wouldn’t accept me leaving.” The gamble obviously paid off as Chunkz has been living in a £5m house since 2019 with fellow YouTuber’s in the 'Beta Squad.'

How Old Is Chunkz?

Chunkz was born on 21 February 1996, and is 26 years of age. He resides in London.
