What Is Liam Payne’s Net Worth In 2022?

What Is Liam Payne’s Net Worth In 2022?

The singer is in the news this week after making controversial comments about One Direction, but what is he worth?

Liam Payne, the One Direction heart-throb, came under fire this week after he was recently a guest on Youtuber Logan Paul’s podcast, ‘Impaulsive’, and appeared to diss certain members of the notoriously loved band.

Payne made comments suggesting that he was the reason that the band was put together back on the X Factor in 2010, and recalled physical altercations between the boys, the very last thing that fans want to hear after what has now been a seven-year ‘hiatus’.

Despite this recent interview, Payne was a part of one of the biggest boy bands of all time, so how much is he worth in 2022?

What Is Liam Payne’s Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Liam’s net worth is $70 million (£56 million).

He first took to the X Factor stage when he was just 14 years old, where he strangely met the future mother of his child, Cheryl, who was a judge on the talent show at the time.

Nine years on from their first encounter at Liam’s audition, Cheryl became pregnant with their little boy, Bear, and just a year later the two announced that they had called time on their relationship. In his recent interview, Liam said that the birth of his son Bear “ruined” his relationship with the ‘Girls Aloud’ pop star, despite claiming that he loves his son more than anything in the world.

Talking about his 5-year-old son, Liam said “The scariest thing for me is him waking up one day and saying I want to be famous”.

Payne skyrocketed into the spotlight at the age of 17 with his five other boy band members, spiralling into a circle of alcoholism and as he puts it “smashing up the hotel room”. Despite the ridiculous levels of success that One Direction achieved, it’s not difficult to see why the star fears this for his child.

Liam sold his £6.5 million mansion that he shared with his ex-girlfriend Cheryl in 2021, and it is unknown as to where he resides now. He did however make clear in the interview that he is never too far away from Bear, and enjoys taking him to school “at least one or two times a week”.
