The new release marks a “dark” role for the 35-year-old actor, with Pattinson recently confessing to having some difficulties on set during filming.

Pattinson and Waterhouse were rumoured to be linked since 2018, according to Us Weekly. 

However, it wasn’t until the first major lockdown in the UK that Pattinson confirmed that he even had a girlfriend as per a GQ article. 

Despite the couple of over three years preferring to keep things private, Pattinson has recently admitted that after Waterhouse watched his most recent movie, she felt “super sexed up”. 

In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Pattinson said of Suki watching The Batman: “It was really her reaction that kind of changed the entire thing because I'm pretty sure she's not normally into watching superhero movies.

“And just seeing that it was capturing her attention the entire time and then she held my hand and touched it [to her face] and I could feel a little tear. And I was like, ‘No way!’”

Kimmel then joked: “And then after the movie was she just all over you? Super sexed up from Batman?” 

Pattinson then responded as he laughed: “I mean, yeah!”
