Britney Spears has just married fiance Sam Asghari, seven months after being freed from a conservatorship. But who is he, what does he do for a living and how did they meet? 

Who Is Sam Asghari?

Sam is 28 years old and was born in Iran. He moved over to the US with his family when he was 12. He also has a sister he is close with, Fay, who works as a model and is the reason Sam first stepped foot onto a catwalk.  

Sam has tried a few different work ventures in his life, spending time as an actor, a model and a personal trainer. Most of the public who know Sam will have heard of him through his popular Instagram page @samasghari, which he uses actively, posting everyday gym and lifestyle tips to his 2.4 million followers.  

What Does Sam Asghari Do For A Living? 

Sam holds a variety of talents, and alongside his fitness obsession and acting career he has always loved sports. Initially he dreamed of playing professional American football, after being very successful playing in his high school football team. After this he got a chance to participate in a football program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, but unfortunately for him he was cut before his freshman year and instead played a small stint at Los Angeles Moorpark College. 

His career in fitness began later on in his life when he started up his own business Asghari Fitness, which offers their members personalised training programmes explaining what to eat and how to train to become as ripped as Sam. The fitness entrepreneur has also dabbled in some modelling, making his debut on the runway when he was 21. 

How Did Sam Asghari And Britney Spears Meet? 

Sam began doing small amounts of work in the music industry, performing in music videos. After he had a small part in Fifth Harmony’s Work from Home music video he landed a part in Britney Spears’ music video for her song Slumber Party in 2016. 

It was on the set of this raunchy music video where sparks began to fly between Sam and Britney. After exchanging numbers, the two fell in love and have been together for five years before their marriage on June 9th 2022.
