YouTubers who stayed overnight in world's 'loneliest house' issue disclaimer to people who want to visit

The YouTubers made a 27-mile trip uphill to visit the secluded cabin and experience one of the best sunrises in the world

Some content creators set out to trek to the 'loneliest house' in the world and stay for a night, though they sent out a disclaimer to those wanting to do the same.

Deep in the cascade mountains of Washington state, USA, is a cabin that sits atop one of the mountain's peak, looking out over miles of land.

It sounds like it provides beautiful views but as expected, it's not exactly easy to access, as YouTuber Thomas Brag, part of group channel Yes Theory, took it upon himself to venture up towards the elusive home.

Originally going up for the stunning view, the group found a lot more following their gruelling journey to the mountaintop.

Thomas decided to bring another member of the channel in Tommy, as well as Alex, a wilderness first responder, who revealed that it would be a 20-mile (32km) bike ride, followed by a 7-mile (11km) hike - all uphill - to their desired destination. Easy enough, right?

After getting all of the specific gear needed for their travels, the group also joined up with photographer Jake, who posted clips of his previous visit to the cabin on Instagram, which inspired the group to visit it themselves.

Setting off early the next morning, the group made their way down a rocky path on their bikes uphill, with heavy bags weighing them down for the entirely of their travels.

Hiking through the forest to the mountain in question, the social media creators struggled to find any streams or creaks, they had to melt snow for their water supply.

A drone shot then revealed the cabin in the distance, appearing as a tiny speck in the distance, outlining the difficulty of the journey they were undertaking.

Prior to their trek though, the group shared an urgent disclaimer to viewers who may want to replicate the trip, stating: Please do not attempt this without experience. This is a legitimately dangerous climb and done in the company of highly experienced people."

Clips in the video proved this, as each of them struggled to wiggle in and out of the rock formations on the side of the mountain, even with the help of a rope.

The final stretch up a steep bit of snow led to an older ladder, reaching the world's 'loneliest house' at sunset, to stunning views.

The cabin had been constructed in 1932 to warn people of forest fires in the region, though it had long been forgotten since then, as it was only used for its original purpose for four years.

A small group of volunteers help to keep the cabin alive, as they fell in love with its location and wanted it to be available to any travellers willing to visit.

The materials to built the cabin would have been carried up as a kit by pack horses and mules in the 1930s, but people now regularly visit the cabin to ensure that everything is still in good shape.

A man named Don appeared in the video as one of the volunteers that makes routine visits to the cabin, and revealed that the ladders used were last replaced in 1996. Reassuring.

Despite admitting that they wanted to give up several times along the way, the group made the challenging trip to the cabin and didn't regret it, as they ended up spending two nights there, enjoying two sunrises before descending back down to Earth.
