Underground cavers admit they were 'pretty scared' after hearing something whilst exploring old mine

Identical twin YouTubers shared the moment they heard a creepy noise whilst exploring an old mine - and surprisingly, they didn't decide to hightail it out of there.

Brothers James and Edward of ActionAdventureTwins are back to show us how horrifying it can be to dive into underground caves, unless you are interested in delving into a pitch black cave, of course.

As well as the claustrophobic aspect, viewers are always stunned to find out what lies in America's most dangerous caves.

In a YouTube video from November 2023, the siblings explore 'a nightmare' mine with a bizarre pipe running through it.

As they get deeper and deeper into the cave, the passageway becomes more and more narrow, forcing James and Edward to crawl through the tiny gaps.

"Who laid this pipe man, that would be a crazy job?" one of the brothers questioned.

Just a couple minutes into the 20 minute video, the pair spot six or seven 'pillows' that are piled on top of each other.

They've clearly been down there for a long time as they blended in with the stone colour of the rocks.

Shortly after discovering a second pipe, one of the YouTubers claimed to have heard a seriously disturbing noise.

"Did you hear something?" one of them asks, as the other replies: "That wasn't you?

"It sound like a thump," the brother adds, when his sibling clarifies: "No, I heard like a lady's voice."

"Okay the thump must have been you, I didn't hear the lady's voice," the other responds.

Explaining what he heard exactly, the sibling said: "I thought it was you at first but then I just kept hearing you crawling and I heard it coming from a different direction."

"Like from behind us?" the other asked, while the brother replied: "No like deeper in the cave."

The pair agreed: "That's scary dude," as one of them said: "You got me pretty scared now!"

Thankfully, the two cave explorers were not joined a random lady, and were able to carry out their still very risky exploration.

Commenting on the video, one fan said: "One of my all time biggest and deepest fear on the planet is to be trapped somewhere like in a collapsed cave or mine.

"You guys are doing for fun what I have nightmares over. Once I had to crawl would be where my journey ended."

A second also wrote: "Watching you crawl through those tight places is so nerve wracking.

"My heart starts racing and I have to remind myself to breathe; such a relief when you return to the surface. Love your videos!"
