Everyone’s favourite TV doctor Zach Braff is under the spotlight this week as split rumours surround him and girlfriend Florence Pugh, who was spotted with British actor Will Poulter on a beach in Ibiza. The pair, well acquainted with public speculation thanks to their 21-year age gap, met in 2019, and have lived together in Los Angeles ever since.

Braff earned his breakout role in 2001 on the medical comedy TV series Scrubs, which aired for over a decade. He directed a handful of episodes, and served as an Executive Producer in its final season. It is reported that he earned $350,000 per episode.

In 2020, Braff and Scrubs co-star Donald Faison started the podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends, with Zach and Donald to bide their time whilst quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to stream across multiple platforms.
Outside of TV acting, Braff’s artistry extends to filmmaking and to the theatre. He has directed multiple screen productions, including 2004’s Garden State, in which he starred alongside Natalie Portman, and Apple TV’s Ted Lasso (2020), which earned him a Directors Guild of America Award in 2021.

Fans speculated their split when Pugh was spotted with actor Will Poulter in Ibiza in May 2022. However, Pugh quickly shot down rumours via Instagram, stating the pair were just friends with any suggestions otherwise being the crafty work of the paparazzi. She added: ‘Thanks for saying we look sexy. Doesn’t mean we’re doing the sexy.’

Braff reportedly lives in a $3.1 Million house in Los Angeles, which he purchased in 2003 following the early success of Scrubs. The house, built in 1947, is decked out with three bedrooms, a pool, and a hot tub.
