Critics of Donald Trump come in all shapes sizes. Over the weekend, they came in human form, in cities across the world, to bring light to the president's apparent intentions to devolve women's liberation in the western world.

In the Twittersphere, however, there has been an account growing quietly yet rapidly, and it isn't even human.

@HalfAnOnionInABag is exactly that. It's a sliced onion in a plastic bag. It's goal: to simply amass more followers than Trump's 21 million. So far, the vegetable has 206,000, which is a good innings for an account started four days ago on inauguration day.

It typically tweets about Trump and his family, so long as it incorporates onions. For example, the other day it announced it was "in the process of writing my first book: 'Half Onion In A Bag: The Art of the Meal'."

Another post shows a collection of pictures of Eric Trump, the President's son, below the caption: "Eric Trump always looks like he accidentally bit into a whole raw onion & is trying to act like he meant to and that it actually tastes good."

Is this how you take down an opponent? Would Trump find it funny? Does Trump find anything funny? Is Half An Onion actually a Trump relative in disguise, amassing followers only to reveal themselves when they reach 21 million, adding to the power and popularity? Time will tell.
